Kathmandu . Having preliminary victory leading people’s war against coronoviru outbreak in Wuhan of China, Chinese President Jinping has expressed his commitment to achieve sound economic development despite short term economic repercussions.
During his inspection visit of Wuhan Xi declared “Victory for Wuhan, victory for Hubei, and victory for China!”
At the time of this declaration he was seen clenching his fist in media presentation. Indeed winning preliminary war against COVID-19, Xi has proved himself,the
man of the hour and true commander-in-chief of China.
He flew into Wuhan Tuesday to inspect the epidemic prevention and control work on the ground.
By this week, the coronavirus has spread to more than 100 countries and regions, infecting over 100,000 people. This has been posing a major public health threat to mankind after SARS, MERS and Ebola.
At the time of fighting people’s war for founding the People’s of Republic of China in 1949 there enemies were visible but for Xi the fight was against for invisible enemy. Taking direct reign as commander -in-chief Xi declared people’s war against the COVID-19 and got the victory. He mobilized the force of the whole country for fighting the invisible enemy and enemy has been seen quelled now.
He is aware of the situation of the country faced the challenge of outbreak of coronavirus. He knows that he has to do more and so he said “But the prevention and control work remains arduous.”
Capacity of leadership is tested at the time of crisis. He was well known to his own capacity and the capacity of people of China. At the time of taking decision on January 28 meeting with Director General of the World Health Organization,
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus Xi said he had been personally directing the outbreak response and devising prevention and control measures all along. He deputed all his party leaders under his command and officials to prove him right in front of the Director General of WHO. People of China and his party leaders contributed their maximum capacity in preventing and controlling coronavirus.
Xi was seen active in the fight so he is said the backbone of this battle.
Liu Jingbei, a professor at the China Executive Leadership Academy in Pudong, Shanghai said “Xi is the backbone of this battle. His leadership is crucial for the country to ultimately beat the epidemic.”
This people’s war was fought with Chinese charaterstics. Under Xi’s command, a central leading group on the epidemic response headed by Premier Li Keqiang was established, two days later, Vice Premier Sun Chunlan was sent to inspect the work on the ground in Hubei. After the inspection, Party chiefs of Hubei and Wuhan were replaced in light of the serious problems exposed in the initial response.
Ordered the use of the entire country’s resources to pool strength into tackling the issue, which is an advantage of China’s socialist system was given.
Under Xi’s command, the country’s constant theme of this war has been “people first” and people’s life and health as the top priority and placing the people’s interests above everything else.
Xi knows that the whole world has become a village where all should join hands rather the hatching conspiracy. Agents of anti-Chinese bloc was seen active even in Nepali Media Known as the Kantipur Media Group. People of Nepal opposed such anti Chinese activities in Nepal. Those agents presented COVID-19 as the product of Chinese political modal. This was rubbish to think that a political modal produce a disease. But those elements forget that Viruses respect no borders in the global village.
But Xi knows well so he says that public health security is a common challenge faced by humanity, and all countries should join hands to cope with it.
Observing the Chinese fight against coronavirus, International Monetary Fund Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva has said that she expects China’s economy to “return to normal” in the second quarter of 2020.
China will aim for basically realizing socialist modernization by 2035 and becoming a great modern socialist country by the middle of the 21st century. Therefore after inspecting Wuhan, Xi said that China would achieve sound economic development. And Xi will prove himself again achieving his target of sound economy.
